Terms of Service
Please read our terms carefully before using Siddhatheertham.
Siddha Theertham is a platform operated by SANMARGAM PRIVATE LIMITED (“SANMARGAM”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By using the website or making a booking, you agree to these Terms.
1. Platform role
Siddha Theertham enables customers to discover, request and manage Hindu ritual and Pooja services, interact with eligible Pandits, obtain or self-source approved Pooja items, arrange related logistics, make supported payments, and receive booking communications.
Availability depends on service region, Pandit availability, item and logistics availability, and the information provided for a booking.
2. Ritual and service information
Ritual names, descriptions, available items, preparation information and other catalogue content are maintained by SANMARGAM through the platform’s Admin system and may be updated from time to time.
A booking is governed by the service description, price and configuration shown or recorded when the booking is confirmed.
3. Booking information
Customers must provide accurate contact, address, schedule and other information reasonably necessary to fulfil a booking.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the venue is accessible and suitable at the agreed time.
4. Pandits
Pandit availability and assignment may change when necessary. Where an assigned Pandit becomes unavailable, SANMARGAM may offer a reassignment, reschedule or cancellation/refund option as applicable.
The platform may support different Pandit engagement and payment modes. The payment summary displayed for the booking will identify the applicable amounts and payment method.
5. Prices and platform fee
Unless otherwise shown, amounts are in Indian Rupees (INR).
The Pandit’s ritual-service price, Siddha Theertham platform and coordination fee, goods and items, logistics, additional services and applicable taxes may be displayed as separate components.
The current default platform and coordination fee is 10% of the Pandit’s quoted ritual-service price, subject to the fee or version recorded for the booking.
For certain Freelancer Pandit bookings, the Pandit-service amount may be payable directly by the customer to the Pandit after the ritual. Amounts collected by SANMARGAM will be shown separately.
6. Payments
Payments collected by SANMARGAM may be processed through an approved third-party payment provider. A booking or payment is treated as paid only when the platform receives the required confirmation.
Customers should not make duplicate payments while a previous payment is still pending.
7. Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds
The current policy is:
Before payment: cancellation without financial consequence
After payment but before Pandit acceptance and before irreversible fulfilment cost: refund of the SANMARGAM-collected amount
After Pandit acceptance or irreversible fulfilment cost: manual component-wise review
More than 24 hours before a ritual: one free reschedule may be allowed where no irreversible cost exists and availability permits
24 hours or less before a ritual: manual review
Customer no-show or inaccessible venue: manual review rather than automatic forfeiture
If SANMARGAM or the Pandit cannot fulfil: reassignment, reschedule or refund of undelivered SANMARGAM-collected components as applicable
Once a refund is approved, SANMARGAM aims to initiate it within 2 business days. Bank and payment-provider credit timing is outside SANMARGAM’s direct control.
8. Pooja items and logistics
Customers may be offered SANMARGAM-supplied approved items or may self-source items where the booking permits.
Some items may be consumable, customer-kept, returnable or subject to separate logistics instructions. Applicable delivery and return instructions shown for the booking must be followed.
9. Religious and spiritual nature of services
Ritual and spiritual services are offered in a religious and cultural context. SANMARGAM does not promise a particular supernatural, medical, financial, legal, career or other outcome from any ritual or spiritual service.
Nothing on the platform is a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial or other regulated advice.
10. Communications
Booking, payment, support, fulfilment and service communications may be sent through enabled channels such as in-app notifications and email. Other channels may be enabled after the relevant provider and configuration approvals.

You must not:
Misuse the platform
Submit fraudulent or unlawful bookings

12. Intellectual property

Customers may use customer-facing content for personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise stated.
13. Third-party services
Payments, logistics, communications and other functions may rely on third-party providers. Their service availability and processing timelines may affect fulfilment.
14. Limitation and service interruptions
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SANMARGAM is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses caused by circumstances outside reasonable control, including provider outages, force majeure, customer-provided information errors or events that make the ritual or venue impossible or unsafe to serve.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Privacy
Use of personal information is governed by the Siddha Theertham Privacy Policy.
